DigiByte Wallet Release Notes
- v4.0.76 — August 30, 2026 A security release: returning to the app could skip the PIN. Fixed, with a PIN check on every send and a scheduled review.
- v4.0.75 — August 30, 2026 DigiDollar recovery could try to spend dollars that had already been spent, and the network rejected the whole move. Fixed.
- v4.0.74 — August 29, 2026 The recovery tool no longer offers to move your own DigiDollar to where it already is, which would have cost a fee for nothing.
- v4.0.73 — August 29, 2026 A wallet holding only DigiDollar read as empty in recovery. It now shows the dollars and says plainly what it needs to move them.
- v4.0.72 — August 29, 2026 The recovery tool can now find and move DigiDollar from another wallet’s seed, which it previously said nothing about.
- v4.0.71 — August 29, 2026 A wallet with more DigiAssets than DGB outputs can now move all of them in recovery, not just the first.
- v4.0.70 — August 28, 2026 A failed send is now as loud as a successful one, and leads with “Nothing left your wallet.”
- v4.0.69 — August 28, 2026 Recovery now moves DigiAssets out of the old wallet before sweeping its DGB, removing a whole class of fee-sizing bugs.
- v4.0.68 — August 28, 2026 French, a thirteenth language; the passphrase moves to its own screen after seed verification; DigiAssets can be moved out of a wallet you are recovering.
- v4.0.67 — August 28, 2026 A security fix to the new passphrase support, found by auditing it the day it shipped.
- v4.0.66 — August 28, 2026 An optional passphrase — a word of your own that makes your written recovery phrase useless to anyone who finds it.
- v4.0.65 — August 27, 2026 The price shown now follows the currency you chose, and dates are written the way your language writes them.
- v4.0.64 — August 27, 2026 Your transaction list speaks your language too.
- v4.0.63 — August 27, 2026 German, and a language picker on the very first screen — before you are asked to write anything down.
- v4.0.62 — August 27, 2026 The wallet speaks ten more languages, and new wallets now start on fresh keys.
- v4.0.61 — August 27, 2026 Recovering an old wallet no longer destroys DigiAssets, strand them, or miss coins it should have found.
- v4.0.60 — August 27, 2026 The balance screen now names DigiByte and DigiDollar with their own marks instead of in words.
- v4.0.59 — August 26, 2026 The wallet no longer repeats a minter’s claim back to you as if it were proof of who created an asset.
- v4.0.46 — August 22, 2026 A “history gap” warning with an unknown starting point could never be dismissed. Now it can.
- v4.0.45 — August 22, 2026 Clears a “history gap” warning left over a range the wallet had already scanned.
- v4.0.44 — August 22, 2026 A “history gap” now repairs itself, instead of needing a server lookup or a full rebuild of the chain.
- v4.0.43 — August 21, 2026 Fixes a v4.0.41 problem where one disagreeing peer could mark tens of thousands of blocks permanently unverified.
- v4.0.42 — August 21, 2026 Fixes a send that could report success while the network had refused it, leaving the wallet holding coins that existed nowhere else.
- v4.0.41 — August 20, 2026 The filter chain can no longer lie to you below a checkpoint: a peer serving a divergent chain is now rejected and banned, not just logged.
- v4.0.40 — August 19, 2026 Fixes the bug behind “my wallet is re-syncing from scratch”: recovering from a network drop no longer restarts the scan from the beginning.
- v4.0.39 — August 18, 2026 DigiAsset balances now count only what the wallet still holds, ending the inflated counts some asset holders were seeing.
- v4.0.38 — August 18, 2026 Reverts the v4.0.37 asset-display change after it under-counted holdings, and adds the per-asset logging used to find the real cause.
- v4.0.37 — August 18, 2026 An attempt to stop an abandoned send counting toward asset balances forever. It under-counted holdings and was reverted in v4.0.38.
- v4.0.36 — August 17, 2026 Stops the wallet sending your address list to a server for asset lookups, and corrects how DigiAsset change is counted.
- v4.0.35 — August 9, 2026 Makes restore and re-sync resume where they left off across restarts, and closes a compact-filter gap that could hide an incoming payment.
- v4.0.34 — August 8, 2026 A large sync-reliability release: the wallet knows when it's truly finished syncing, recovers from stalls on its own, and completes scans that used to stick.
- v4.0.23 — July 25, 2026 Once your wallet is fully synced it now holds fewer network connections, easing load on the peer network and your device.
- v4.0.22 — July 23, 2026 Automatically recovers a wallet that has quietly lost all its connections and stopped syncing in the background.
- v4.0.21 — July 21, 2026 Offers to exempt the wallet from aggressive battery optimization so it keeps syncing in the background, and reconnects more reliably after a network change.
- v4.0.20 — July 21, 2026 Fixes incoming DigiDollar payments that could go unnoticed by making sure your DigiDollar receive address is always being watched.
- v4.0.19 — July 20, 2026 Fixes the wallet getting stuck with no connections after a brief network interruption.
- v4.0.18 — July 20, 2026 Makes restored wallets scan from the correct point in history, and moves DigiAsset balances onto a more accurate accounting method.
- v4.0.17 — July 19, 2026 Adds automatic recovery from a bad chain state during sync, and further tightens DigiAsset balance accuracy.
- v4.0.16 — July 19, 2026 Corrects an inflated DigiAsset balance that could show more tokens than actually exist.
- v4.0.15 — July 19, 2026 A round of sync-reliability improvements that keep the wallet connected and finishing sync, plus support for showing newer DigiAsset artwork.
- v4.0.14 — July 19, 2026 Adds a safeguard that detects and recovers a frozen sync, the kind that could otherwise leave you without new confirmations for days, and tidies the Assets tab.
- v4.0.13 — July 19, 2026 Fixes DigiAsset sends that could fail with a "Not enough DGB" message even when your wallet held plenty of DigiByte.
- v4.0.12 — July 19, 2026 DigiAsset transactions now show the asset's name and the correct token amount in your activity list, for example "20 CHANG".
- v4.0.11 — July 19, 2026 Fixes a crash that could happen when sending DigiByte or a DigiAsset.
- v4.0.10 — July 19, 2026 Corrects the amount shown for a DigiDollar send in your activity list, which was displaying the leftover change instead of the amount you actually sent.
- v4.0.9 — July 19, 2026 Transaction amounts now display in the right units — DigiDollar in dollars and DigiAssets as a token count, not just DGB.
- v4.0.8 — July 19, 2026 Makes "Scan for missing funds" more reliable by grouping its requests so it no longer fails from querying the server too quickly.
- v4.0.7 — July 19, 2026 Strengthens "Scan for missing funds" with an address-history backstop that can recover transactions normal sync missed.
- v4.0.6 — July 19, 2026 Fixes a sync that could freeze partway through and never finish, by automatically restarting the stalled step.
- v4.0.5 — July 19, 2026 A small internal maintenance release with no user-facing changes.
- v4.0.4 — July 19, 2026 Fixes the app becoming unresponsive when you run a full wallet rebuild from the blockchain.
- v4.0.3 — July 19, 2026 Fixes some received DigiDollar payments that could stay stuck showing as pending.
- v4.0.2 — July 19, 2026 Received DigiDollar payments now confirm reliably, transactions are clearly labeled in your activity, and sync stays private even if it reconnects mid-way.
- v4.0.1 — July 18, 2026 Fixes the QR-code scan button on the DigiAsset send screen, which previously did nothing.
- v4.0.0 — July 18, 2026 A major release: sync now runs only through private compact filters, so your addresses never leave your device. Plus DigiDollar on mainnet and DigiAsset fixes.
- v3.10.29 — July 14, 2026 Fixes a memory leak that could strand a long-used or restored wallet in an endless sync restart loop, never reaching 100%.
- v3.10.28 — July 14, 2026 Moves the DigiRunner mini-game from the sync screen into the Hub, reducing memory pressure during a heavy first sync.
- v3.10.27 — July 13, 2026 Fixes a freeze or app-not-responding state after syncing, caused by a background keepalive holding an internal lock on stale peers.
- v3.10.26 — July 12, 2026 Adds an in-app bug and feedback report link, pre-filled with device, OS, app version, and sync status.
- v3.10.25 — July 12, 2026 Lays groundwork for stronger sync integrity by cross-checking compact-filter sync against built-in checkpoints (observe-only for now).
- v3.10.24 — July 12, 2026 Improves sync reliability, especially over Tor, with peer failover and relaxed timeouts for slow-but-good connections.
- v3.10.23 — July 12, 2026 Adds self-healing startup: corrupted local data is now detected and cleared automatically instead of crashing on open.
- v3.10.22 — July 12, 2026 Fixes a sync freeze after long runtime, caused by a background keepalive hanging on a dead mobile connection.
- v3.10.21 — July 11, 2026 Unifies sync status across screens and speeds up private sync with persistent, prioritized filter-peer connections.
- v3.10.15 — July 10, 2026 Fixes unconfirmed native-SegWit sends caused by fee under-estimation, and adds node-verified balance recovery.
- v3.10.14 — July 10, 2026 Adds self-healing private sync that automatically replaces unresponsive filter nodes during a deep re-scan.
