DigiByte Wallet v4.0.0

July 18, 2026

Stronger privacy by default. The wallet now syncs exclusively through modern compact block filters and has fully retired the older sync method that could send a summary of your wallet's addresses out to other peers. From this version on, your list of addresses never leaves your phone under any condition — the wallet asks the network for blocks and figures out what's yours entirely on-device. Peer connections also start from a trusted set of nodes, and you can now pair your own DigiByte node by scanning a QR code for a completely self-reliant sync.

DigiDollar is now live on mainnet. You can send and receive DigiDollar directly in the wallet: it detects a DigiDollar address automatically when you send, shows your available DigiDollar balance, presents the correct terms on the Receive screen, and asks you to confirm (with your fingerprint/PIN) before a send goes out.

More accurate DigiAsset balances. This release corrects a range of asset-counting problems — inflated balances, leftover or duplicate asset entries, and a low-value dust threshold — so the tokens you hold are shown honestly and reconciled from your own device rather than an outside source. Add to that new PIN protections (a lockout after repeated wrong attempts, plus an optional wipe-after-too-many-failures setting) and several crash fixes that keep the wallet from failing to open after a restore or on corrupted local data.
