ATB Wallet v4.1.0
October 15, 2026
A security update. Every user should install it.
New name: DigiByte Mobile is now ATB Wallet for DigiByte (DGB), with a new icon. It is the same app (app.aroundtheblock.wallet), your wallet and settings carry over, and it updates in place. Independent wallet by Around The Block LLC; not affiliated with or endorsed by the DigiByte Foundation, DigiByte Alliance or DigiByte-Core.
Sending: the fee you see is the fee you pay, and the wallet signs only what you approved: the recipient, the amount and change back to your own wallet. A payment is never smaller than the amount you confirmed; a send that cannot fit into one transaction is refused and nothing is sent. A send is marked Sent only after a peer accepts it. DigiDollar sends show their exact fee before you confirm and are labelled correctly in history, and a payment below the dust limit is refused with a clear reason.
Balance: a payment found in a block the wallet cannot yet vouch for waits, unconfirmed, until the chain reaches the next checkpoint. This mostly affects a wallet restored from an older starting point. Pending DigiDollar and DigiAsset receives survive a restart. An output that may carry DigiAsset units is held, not spent as plain DGB, so some DGB can show as held; it is never lost.
Recovering funds from another wallet pays only addresses that the phrase you are recovering from derives itself, and that phrase is kept only for the sweep that uses it.
PIN and screens: the PIN lockout runs on a clock that changing the date or time cannot move. Send confirmations and the PIN dialog cannot be captured in screenshots, screen recordings or the recent-apps preview, and they ignore taps while another app draws over them. If the wallet will not unlock after updating, do not uninstall it: contact us first at https://www.aroundtheblock.us/contact/.
Digi-ID, the Hub and the network: Digi-ID quick login signs only a strictly checked DigiScope login request, Hub posts and tips need the same PIN or biometric check as a payment, every response from the network has a size limit, and every client in the app follows the same certificate pins and Tor setting.
Most of these changes come from outside researchers who reported problems to us privately. They are credited in the full release notes on GitHub, which also list the known issues scheduled for 4.1.1.
If you still use the retired DigiByte Wallet (io.digibyte), it will not receive these fixes. Install ATB Wallet and restore your recovery phrase there. Steps: /wallet#moving.
