A DigiDollar token output carries zero satoshis — the cents are recorded elsewhere in the transaction — so it never appeared among the ordinary coins the recovery screen decided from. A wallet whose only value was dollars therefore showed as empty, with no button to move anything. The dollar was not just stuck; it was invisible. Measured on mainnet against a wallet holding exactly $1.00 and no DGB, which answered “Couldn’t finish checking”.
Four honesty problems on that screen are fixed together. The dollars are now shown even when they are the only thing found. The recovery can be run at all in that case. A run that broadcast nothing no longer shows a green “Sweep submitted” tick and a promise that funds will appear once confirmed. And the refusal when there is not enough DGB to pay the fee, which used to read as a machine constant in satoshis, in English only, now says “Needs 0.1 DGB for the network fee — this wallet has 0 DGB” in all thirteen languages.
That refusal is correct, by the way: DigiDollar transfers require a 0.1 DGB fee by consensus, roughly twice a DigiAsset transfer, so a wallet swept clean of DGB genuinely cannot move its dollars. The wallet’s job is to say so and keep the dollar visible until it can. Verified on mainnet end to end: stranded at the fee floor, topped up, dollar brought home. The last two untested restore paths — an older m/0’ legacy derivation and the wrong-coin accident — were also funded and swept on mainnet and recorded.
