When a send failed, the wallet reported it as one line of small red text at the bottom of a scrolling form — below the button, sometimes below the fold — with nothing to dismiss and nothing recorded. A successful send, meanwhile, filled the screen and blocked the app until you acknowledged it. The two outcomes had opposite volumes, and the quiet one was the one that mattered: from the outside a failed send looked exactly like nothing having happened, which is how three real sends came to be described as never registering anywhere.
The first theory, that leaving the screen cancelled the send, was tested on a phone and refuted: backing out immediately after tapping Send still broadcast. Sends were never being lost; failures were being whispered. A failure now gets the same full-screen, must-dismiss treatment as a success, and opens with the one thing you need to know first: nothing left your wallet.
It also says why, in plain terms. “Insufficient balance” is true and useless when the balance is visibly enough — the real problem is that the amount left nothing for the fee — so that case now names the fee. The raw reason is kept for unusual failures, and every attempt is now logged, so a future bug report has something to go on. Strings in all thirteen languages; verified on the same phone where the send that once whispered now blocks.
