More reliable sync, especially over Tor — the wallet now downloads block filters from a peer that just proved it's responsive (with automatic failover to a healthy peer) instead of pinning one node, so a single slow or half-dead connection no longer strands the last stretch of sync. Sync timeouts are also relaxed while Tor is active, so good-but-slow Tor connections aren't dropped prematurely.
