DigiByte Wallet v4.0.87
October 7, 2026
A release of DigiByte Wallet (io.digibyte), the app DigiByte Mobile replaces. Moving to DigiByte Mobile.
This is the final update for this app (io.digibyte). The wallet continues as DigiByte Mobile (app.aroundtheblock.wallet), on Google Play and as a signed APK, published by Around The Block LLC. It is a separate app: install it alongside this one, choose Recover Existing Wallet and enter this wallet's recovery phrase. Nothing moves on chain, and DigiAssets and DigiDollar come along. Keep this app until your balance shows in the new one. Steps: /wallet#moving.
Security: every block header must now carry exactly the difficulty target DigiByte's MultiShield rules require; a header that does not is rejected. (v4.0.86 recorded mismatches; this release enforces the check.)
Privacy: Recover funds scans only the recovery phrase as you entered it, with its passphrase if you gave one, and nothing else.
After you unlock, a notice explains the move to DigiByte Mobile, with a link to the steps.
The launcher shows this app as DigiByte (old), with a grey icon, so it is easy to tell apart from DigiByte Mobile.
