DigiByte Wallet v4.0.34
August 8, 2026
This is a big reliability update that pulls together a lot of sync work. The wallet now decides it's "synced" only once its scan of the chain has genuinely finished, rather than the moment it reaches the latest block — so it no longer claims to be done while it's still catching up, and it no longer gets stuck part-way. Several kinds of stalls are now detected and recovered automatically, "Scan for missing transactions" reliably runs a real scan again, and restoring a wallet now works from any point in its history (an earlier limit that could refuse to restore has been removed).
Everyday use is smoother and more stable too. The syncing spinner no longer redraws constantly, which is easier on the battery; your newest transaction no longer incorrectly shows "1 confirmation" every time you open the app; and some rare crashes — including one while estimating remaining sync time and one while saving block data — have been fixed.
For testers, there's a new opt-in beta channel that can offer prerelease builds. These test builds are kept completely separate from the normal stable download, so regular users are never handed an unfinished version. If your wallet has felt stuck or slow to finish syncing, updating and letting it run should now carry it all the way to complete.
