The wallet now speaks French, its thirteenth language, with all 512 strings translated. The translation is machine-assisted and not yet reviewed by a native speaker, which matters most for the warning screens — a fluent reader is welcome.
The optional passphrase has moved. It used to share a scrolling page with your recovery words, with the instruction to keep it separate printed directly beneath the words it was telling you to separate it from. A passphrase stored beside the seed makes the two a single secret again and contributes nothing, so the layout is a security control, not a presentation choice: people write down what is in front of them. The flow is now seed, then verification, then the passphrase on its own screen, then PIN. The advice itself was also corrected in every language — the old text told you to write the passphrase down with your recovery phrase, which is exactly what defeats it. Under the hood the passphrase is now carried as bytes that are wiped after use, the same treatment the recovery phrase already gets, which also fixed a case where a long passphrase in a non-Latin script was silently rejected with a generic “wallet creation failed”.
DigiAssets can now be moved out of a wallet you are recovering from. The recovery screen had been telling users their assets were “left in the old wallet along with enough DGB to move them later”, and there was no later. The move is now a separate, deliberate button on the results screen, every asset that did not move is named with its reason, and the arrival is correctly shown as a receive in your activity list rather than as money leaving. Proven on mainnet with the source wallet emptied.
