DigiByte Wallet v4.0.60
August 27, 2026
A cosmetic release. The balance at the top of the wallet used to spell out what it was showing — a figure followed by the letters DGB, and a small pill labelled “DigiDollar”. Both now carry the coin’s own mark instead.
The DigiDollar pill also takes DigiDollar’s green rather than DigiByte’s blue. That pill exists to say the amount inside it is a separate asset and not part of your DGB balance, and wrapping a green mark in a blue container was quietly arguing the opposite.
Both marks are sized to sit a little proud of the figures beside them. A currency mark that fits neatly inside the digits reads as punctuation rather than as the unit it replaced.
Neither mark is decoration to a screen reader: each announces its currency by name. Without that, the DigiDollar row would read out a bare dollar amount sitting directly beneath a DigiByte balance, and which currency it belonged to — the entire point of the label — would be lost.
