One honest sync status, everywhere — the Network Info screen now shows the exact same compact-filter sync progress as the main screen. Before, it could read “Synced” while the wallet was still catching up on the filters that actually detect your deposits — now both agree, driven by the compact-filter chain tip. The old Sync Mode setting is gone: the wallet is compact-filters-only, so there is nothing to choose.
Faster, steadier private sync — the wallet now keeps its compact-filter connections alive with periodic pings and dials the known filter-serving nodes first instead of scanning the whole network. The result is quicker catch-up, far less connection churn, and no wasted bandwidth.
