DigiByte Wallet v4.0.85
October 1, 2026
Please update. Like the last four releases, this one comes from the scheduled, line-by-line review of the wallet and of the C library underneath it, not from any report of lost funds.
A transaction now reaches the wallet only as the answer to a request the wallet itself made, inside a block it asked for whose transactions add up to the root that block's header commits to. Anything a peer sends that the wallet did not ask for is not taken in.
The bundled block and compact-filter checkpoints are refreshed to height 24,250,000, so a new wallet starts its first scan close to the tip.
Pulling down to refresh no longer rebuilds the chain from the wallet's birth checkpoint; it picks up from where the wallet already is.
One native test suite was added with this work, 95 in all, running on every change to the code and once a week.
