Build on DigiByte

These guides are for people building their own wallets, apps and services on DigiByte. Each one walks through a real feature the way DigiScope itself implements it: Digi-ID passwordless login, reading and issuing DigiAssets, and reading, minting, sending and redeeming DigiDollar. Every step pairs a diagram with the actual code that runs on this site, so you can see the protocol and a working implementation side by side rather than reading an abstract specification.

Nothing here depends on DigiScope. The guides teach against a DigiByte Core node and, where relevant, DigiAsset Core and an IPFS node you run yourself. DigiScope’s code is the worked example, never a service you call. Where DigiScope’s implementation falls short of the ideal — a custodial minting flow, a legacy-address-only verifier — the guide says so plainly, so you can build the better version.

Reading is free and public. Signed-in members at Trust Level 1 or above can take the check at the end of each guide to earn DGB, and completing every guide for a feature earns that feature’s builder badge. Guides are grouped by feature below; each feature also has its own hub page with the concepts, the quests, and a link to try the live feature on DigiScope.
