Vault Day: a monthly DigiDollar sweepstakes, and you can help fill the prize pot now
The DigiByte community asked for a reason to lock DGB into DigiDollar vaults every month. Vault Day is that reason: a monthly sweepstakes on DigiScope, with the prize drawn by the DigiByte blockchain itself.

Enter free. Verified members (Trust L2+) get 1 ticket. No purchase needed.
Want more tickets? Lock DGB in a DigiDollar vault for 1 year or longer during the mint window (Oct 16–17). Every 100 DD you mint = 1 ticket.
Win with a vault ticket? Prove the vault is yours: we show you a small, unique DD amount, and you send it from the vault’s DD address within 72 hours.
Winners are drawn when entries close — this month’s round closes Sun Oct 18, 12:00 PM CT.
Prizes
One winner takes the DGB pot, up to 50,000 DGB this month. Anything above that rolls into next month. It’s paid straight to your DigiScope tip wallet.
How winners are picked
No person picks them. When entries close, the ticket list is frozen. The draw then uses the first DigiByte block whose median time (the middle timestamp of the last 11 blocks) is after the close. Its hash points to one ticket on the list, and that ticket wins. No single miner can steer it, and anyone can re-run the draw with the verifier on the page.

Entries open soon
We’re finishing the official rules first. Vaults minted during the Oct 16–17 window still count once entries open, as long as you submit before this month’s round closes.
